A totally wild, utterly bonkers and hilariously nutty circus-opera for children by Australian composer Chloé Charody - filled with magic, music, madness and more!
For a thousand years, magic has withered at Mrs Giggly’s Magic School. Mrs Giggly herself has lost belief, and her dazzling students—Lathundra the fire-breathing violinist, Tigerfly the trapeze-singing tiger-fly, Choo-Choo the roller-skating unicorn, and Bruhnhildazon the unicycling snail-headed merman—languish in a grey, joyless world.
Then, in a faraway bedroom, young Shauna tumbles through her toybox and hurtles down a blazing rainbow slide into Mrs Giggly’s classroom. Her fearless wonder reignites the spark of enchantment, and lessons begin anew!
When students from the distant School of Wahumbungldeen beg for help against the cruel Principal Poop-a-lot, Mrs Giggly discovers his secret sorrow: a bullied dream of becoming a glamorous camel. With a spell of kindness, she restores his heart—and proves that true magic lives within us all.
