7 Lullabies is a new solo piano album composed by Chloé Charody and performed by Pavle Cajic.
Five of the seven lullabies were composed in homage to five of the many thousands of children murdered in Gaza.
Each piece serves as a reminder to their innocence and the tragedy that can befall us when humanity is forgotten.
A Mother’s Lullaby was composed for the mothers of these children, and for all mothers who are grieving the loss of their child.
The final piece on the album, Morning Blossoms is from Charody’s opera of the same title that she wrote with librettist Malcolm Rock in 2014. Despite the pain, morning will always blossom.
These pieces were composed for children and people from all over the world to play to remember the Palestinian Holocaust of 2023 - current.
7 Lullabies will be released July 21 2025.
