“As a composer, I believe music is one of the most powerful ways we can bear witness to our time. My work is driven by a desire to tell the stories that history is writing around us - stories of displacement, resilience, survival, and hope. At its heart, my practice is about empathy and connection. In a world where millions are displaced, art must play a role in shaping how we understand one another.
